About Pottery

According to the Old Testament,
God is said to have created the first person (Adam)
from a dust of soil (Adama).
Also in the molecular biology,
there is said to be a theory which claims that the clay minerals
have taken an important role for the birth of the life.
And, when we die, we literally come back in soil.
In a sense, one could say that people were born from soil
and go back to soil before long.

I, who was born from soil and go back to soil,
burn the soil and create “a thing”,
I think that to fire the clay and to make “a thing”
is a kind of resistance against
the fate of everything which has no option
but to go back to the soil before long.

What is that which can be created by me now? What must be made?

To create would like to be to continue wondering, I believe.
